FAQ
Common questions about SouthSound.ai, the AMA Network, the pilot, and how to get involved.
SouthSound.ai is the regional pilot gateway for the AMA Network in the South Sound region. It explains the pilot initiative, invites participation, collects partner and pilot interest, and routes people toward the appropriate parts of the AMA Network. It is organized through American Marketing Alliance SPC, a Washington State Social Purpose Corporation.
American Marketing Alliance SPC (AMASPC) is a Washington State Social Purpose Corporation. Social Purpose Corporations are a legal structure under Washington State law that allows businesses to pursue social and environmental purposes alongside financial returns. AMA SPC's mission is to help local organizations better coordinate local opportunities through AI-assisted, human-approved systems.
MarketingCo-Op.ai is the Operating Hub for AMA Network subscribers — the authenticated B2B dashboard where organizations manage approvals, campaigns, leads, tasks, vendor and venue coordination, reporting, and workflow. SouthSound.ai explains the pilot. MarketingCo-Op.ai is where participating organizations do the work.
No. SouthSound.ai is not intended to replace existing local calendars, media organizations, chambers, Experience Olympia, ThurstonTalk, tourism partners, or any other trusted community institution. The pilot is designed to help trusted local information become more structured, discoverable, and actionable — through shared infrastructure that supports existing partners, not a replacement for them.
Community Signals are structured local information — events, sponsorships, vendor needs, venue availability, press releases, media and community content, weather alerts, traffic advisories, school and civic updates, paydays, awards, grants, and community activity. The pilot is designed to help Community Signals flow more efficiently between local organizations, channels, and the audiences who benefit from them.
The Community AI Gateway is the trust, governance, and permission layer for the AMA Network. It ensures human approval before key actions, enforces role-based permissions, tracks sources, maintains auditability, clearly labels sponsorship, supports partner-safe routing, and ensures no partner is implied to endorse the system without explicit documentation.
Nonprofits, event hosts, businesses, sponsors, venues, vendors, media organizations, community calendars, chambers, business groups, tourism partners, schools, and civic institutions are all welcome to participate in or advise the pilot. There are multiple participation paths — from pilot participants and advisory circle members to community partners and strategic underwriters.
Pilot participation terms vary by participation path. Some paths are free during the pilot window. Others, such as MarketingCo-Op.ai subscriptions or strategic underwriting, involve a financial commitment. Contact us for details specific to your organization type and interest.
We are designing the pilot to be accessible to nonprofits. Contact us to discuss nonprofit participation options. We are committed to ensuring that cost is not a barrier to nonprofit participation in the pilot.
Google Cloud provides the infrastructure that powers the AMA Network — Cloud Run, Firestore, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, Firebase Hosting, and related services. Google Cloud is an infrastructure provider. Google is not an endorser, sponsor, investor, or guarantor of SouthSound.ai, AMA SPC, the AMA Network, or any participating organization.
No. AI tools within the AMA Network assist with structuring, drafting, and matching — but they do not publish, dispatch, or act autonomously on behalf of participants. Every meaningful action requires explicit human approval. This is a core principle of the Community AI Gateway.
The pilot measures activity, participation, and workflow usage — not promised outcomes. Key metrics include participating organizations, opportunities submitted, events listed, sponsorships surfaced, leads captured, vendors and venues added, press items submitted, campaigns approved, reports generated, and repeat usage.
You can request a pilot briefing, join the Advisory Circle, register as a pilot participant, express interest as a community partner, or inquire about strategic underwriting. Start by visiting the Contact page or submitting interest through any of the forms on this site.
